German club quarantined due to positive coronavirus test

Football players, coaches and other employees of the German Ore Mountains were quarantined because of a positive test for the presence of coronavirus infection in one of the team members, the club’s press service said.
“All Erzgebirge players, coaches and staff are quarantined as a precaution. The reason for this decision is a positive result on COVID-19 from one of the team members, obtained after the second series of tests.

We are in close contact with the health authorities and have informed them extensively about this matter. Internal quarantine lasts until Thursday. On May 7, the entire team will pass the coronavirus test again, “said the Ore Mountains statement.
Erzgebirge performs in the second Bundesliga. In 2017, Violet was led by the current head coach of the Spartak Domenico Tedesco in Moscow.
